Nebraska Referee Development Program
Nebraska Referee Development Program (NRDP) is a registered non-profit organization devoted to supporting Nebraska’s soccer referees and larger soccer community. We provide services for over seven hundred referees across the state.
The mission of Nebraska Referee Development Program is to serve the game of soccer in Nebraska and beyond by providing quality educational and support services for the state’s soccer referees, assessors, instructors, and assignors; by enforcing high standards of excellence from its members; and by educating the broader soccer community in the Laws of the Game and their application.
State Referee Committee
The State Referee Committee (SRC) is responsible for leading NRDP in promoting and implementing US Soccer’s referee initiatives and programs in support of all affiliated members and competitions within Nebraska. The SRC serves at the pleasure of the State Referee Administrator (SRA).
State Referee Administrator (SRA)
The State Referee Administrator is responsible for overseeing the administrative and technical needs of NRDP. Wayne Wilson has been SRA since 2012.
State Youth Referee Administrator (SYRA)
The State Youth Referee Administrator is responsible for overseeing the administrative and technical needs of NRDP specific to Grades 8 and 7 referees. Jason Francois has been SYRA since 2012.
State Director of Assessment (SDA)
The State Director of Assessment is responsible for developing an assessor network and overseeing the referee assessment needs of NRDP. Jim McVay has been SDA since 2012.
State Director of Instruction (SDI)
The State Director of Instruction is responsible for developing an instructor network and overseeing the instruction needs of NRDP. Brent Wilson has been SDI since 2013.
