As we announced several months ago, as a current or past USSF registered referee, you are already a registered user to the Nebraska Referee website: www.nebref.org. You do not need to register to access the website.
In most cases, your username is the first initial of your first name plus your last name (e.g., John Doe is "jdoe"). Click on the "Login" link on the home page, then type in your username and click on "Password Reminder" button. Your password will then be emailed to the email address we have on file. Easy!!
Referee Recertification Clinics:
There is a clinic scheduled for this coming weekend, February 12th, in Omaha. The next recert clinic is set for March 18th in Blair, Nebraska. In all likelihood these will be the last two referee recertification clinics that will be held in Nebraska this Spring so plan accordingly. Details for these clinics can be found here: Referee Recertification.
As another option, you may attend the annual academy hosted by the Iowa Referee Committee. This is being held at Wartburg College, Waverley, Iowa, on Saturday and Sunday, February 25 - 26, 2012. Lunch is supplied on Saturday, and entry is free.
If you cannot attend either of the Nebraska recert clinics, or if you wish to attend the Iowa academy, you must contact Russ Tice, State Director of Instruction, at rtice@nebref.org.
How to Register:
Regardless of your Grade, you must register online with US Soccer. To do so, follow the Online Registration instructions on the website. Once you have registered online with US Soccer, you must login to www.nebref.org, go to the Referee Recertification page, and click "Join" next to the Clinic you wish to attend.
